Rest day in Tatopani
It is not easy to update here in Nepal, where we can find internet connection the connection is very slow. It is impressive to see the mobile coverage in this area, where we are in no-mans land...Now we are half way in our trekking way, we have been on Poon Hill the other day, 3100 m. From here we could see almost every mountain in Annapurna region and some summits are more than 8000m. I am feeling very small, but very good to see them.
Here in Tatopani we are resting, shopping and speaking with locals. The legs are hurting, but in a good way.Tomorrow we will start early before sunrise to avoid the heat. It is very hot and humid here in tatopani (1100m) and I look forward to move on to the mountains again.
We have so much fun in our group, they are just lovely people. And our guides who are real Sherpas are very nice and funny. We have also some men to carry our baggage, they actually carry the baggage with their neck. I have tried it, but it is hurting like h..., not very heavy, but uncomfortable. Although while walking yesterday we helped the farmer to carry stones (with our neck), they will use the stones to make a resting place for hikers.
We have seen many different people and they are all very friendly, Nepalis and Newaries. When walking I have checked some flying routes here, but with deep narrow valleys doesn't make landing very pleasant. -Hey, the landscape is just awesome and nothing what I have seen before. It would have been great to fly here. I will try to rent paraglider equipment in Pokhara when I will return from trekking, and just relax a bit in the air.
I think I will write more when I will be back in Europe because the electricity aren't reliable, earlier today my text where disappearing several times because no electricity.
