I have knitted a wool trousers to the twins and Alain has spleised a new rope for load test of paraglider.

I think we both like to work with our hands. Here are some of mine bricolage this winter.

And this is Alains handmade simulator.

Here is a small videoclip from last Friday. This is how we are testing rescue parachutes above the lake...also during winter time (?).
It was a cold feeling preparing the glider and all the rescue stuff at the take-off with only thin gloves and summer shoes (check the video approx middle). The glider was a little wet from the day before also testing rescues, so the glider and the lines was crystallized in snow and ice...hutre! It was better to stay in the lake than in the air, the temperature was warmer. But it was a great time and testing, especially when the rescue is super nice like this :-). In video you can hear us singing of joy, although it is little crazy doing it in a cold day like this.

The whole weekend was great! The sun were shining from blue skies and temperature was amazing. I think about 14 degrees on the take-off (Sonchaux 1400m). I had my first paraglider flights this weekend (not paramotor).
Saturday the thermals was just fantastics, I could stay up as long as I wanted without freezing. Although, I couldn't climbed more than 200 m above take-off. Hmm, niiiiiice :-)
Sunday were no more thermals, but still fantastic warm and a beautiful view over the mountains and the lake. Here is a small video clip from Sunday, I am sorry I haven't cut the video nicely. It just raw-material, but enjoyable.
