Peter need 150 000 Euro for the treatment, he has already got 53 %, but he need more. Peter has leukemia, but he can survive if he finishes his treatment. Read my old article (click) here.
I got an email from Peter, he seems positive and still have energy. But what can he do? -He hasn’t control of his own life; he has to rely of the help from outside. Many international magazines have written information how you can help Peter. Please help him, every small donation counts. You find also information on his web page.

Red Bull Xalps party

I went to Monaco after I have spoken with Fri Flukt magazine in Norway to write article about Xalps. I was lucky to contact the Red Bull organization before I left, because I needed a ticket to the party. I arrived early, so I could get lost in Monaco driving around so the fuel of my car went empty, I also found an expensive hotel outside Monaco. Well, I was thinking to sleep in the car, but I desperate needed a shower!!! Short story: I spoke with many pilots, supporters, Red Bull photographers and the boss Hannes Arch. I also spoke with the running man, Toma Coconea; Wow what a marvelous man! I invited him to Midnight Sun Cup next year.
The pilots and supporters who where still in Mt Blanc area when the race stopped last Friday didn’t arrive Monaco before 9 pm, so the price giving ceremony started around 11!!! So my plan to interview Jouni Makkonen on the party I had to postpone to the day after. I met Jouni and his supporter Toni at the Red Bull parking, where everyone slept in their cars, and I did the interview. I hope to finish the article before the Fri Flukt deadline in few days… But you know I think I need more than two pages, I would need the whole magazine :-) I have so many stories. More picture from Xalps here.
I also met Björn and Liv Hege in Nice; nice to meet you in Nice.
nyyydelig par :-)

Supporter car to Alex Hofer
Alain and I met Hofer this evening. We had difficulties to find him without GPS. He was resting long time in a restaurant in Trient for eating real Swiss food right before the French Border. It was not the same man as for two years ago, last time he was full of energy, humour and happy. Now.. I never seen a man so tired, it is hard for him to walk and with 130 km to the leading Chrigel doesn’t give him much motivation. Alain tried to explain the nice weather for tomorrow and most likely good flying. I hope for him to have the same good last flying before Monaco. Cross the fingers!!!!

Wow wow wow.
We have been outside and tested paragliders all day, but I have followed the race via my mobile. I was amazed how Alex decreased the distance to Chrigel… First it was almost 100 km, at one moment it was 56 km apart, next it was 33 km and Alex was only 3 km back of Chrigel before he had to land. I confirm the news on Red Bull Xalps web that Alex took this northerly route because he schedule better flight than Chrigel. He was right, but Chrigel has the waypoint Matterhorn and not Alex….Wow, it starts to be really exciting. I am sorry but I haven’t followed the other athletics today and I can not know what happens to them. Someone probably had a really good flight. Tomorrow the weather is really much better….
I have to eat dinner with Japanese visitors. cheers
