There are so many words for describe Eddy; his personality and his spirit of life, his always smiling face, always helping and caring of other, but words are poor these days. Eddy died Monday…

I remember one afternoon in July, I was frustrated because I missed two shuttles for the take off and I will not be in time for good flying conditions!! Eddy landed shortly after with the biggest smile I have ever seen and full of excitement he described his fantastic flight. He flew two times to Roche de Naye in one single flight and almost 3 hours in the air. I forgot my frustration and I could only feel happiness because of Eddys flight.

We miss you

well, i'm grounded. I landed in piedrahita, nothing more. Today was last day and my dream to fly real free distance here didnt work. I hope next time. Double shit, today is the best day for long distance....

better day today, easier to stay up. I flew to the pass, but strong headwind, so i return to take off. Here i found mario struggling upwards. He told me to follow on radio, and i did. I landed at barco. 60 km today, not bad. Good day, mario was 3100 m at 7pm. We will see how far he flew.

nothing to report. I'm boomed out, means landed very quickly. I and beni went to salamanca and ate huge icecream, while others were still flying.

not a good day, lower cloudbase less lift. We were going for soaring which means a lot of pilot on same place. Everybody fighting for the same small lift. Stress and not fun. I flew away, but ended up struggling low long time. It was difficult to stay airborne. Before the pass i found strong thermal, but i lost it after huge collapse, i lost lot of altitude. I landed on the mountain, long walking.. 21 km only. I really hope the conditiion better tomorrow, i want long distance now.
